Amanda is an actress, producer, and former adoption counselor at the ASPCA. She is originally from Los Angeles, CA and co-founded the Debt Gala along with Tom Costello and Molly Gaebe. Molly Gaebe

Molly is a comedian, writer, and co-founder of Rubbish Comedy, a comedy school and performance collective. She is a writer and performer at Abortion Access Front, a reproductive rights organization that uses comedy to expose anti-choice extremists. She performs regularly in Ten Bones Theater Company’s ‘Entirely From Memory’ improvised movie series.

Tom Costello
Co-Founder & Executive Producer

Tom is a director, writer and producer. Most recently, he was the Associate Director of the Broadway production of American Buffalo. He is directing two world premieres at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe with his company Brooklyn Bottling Company. He is a former Drama League Directing Fellow and is a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre.

Maggie Lee

Maggie is a director, movement director, and freelance event coordinator. She is the Artistic Director of Moxie Arts NY, an alumna of the Drama League Directing Project and the Roundabout Directors Group, and has created events & immersive entertainment for clients such as the United Nations, H&M, and Virgin Voyages.

Jean Pflum
Creative Operations Lead

Jean Pflum is a filmmaker and producer with an emphasis on making creative dreams come true. They primarily focus on all internal ops of the Debt Gala in order to stay organized and uplift the vision of Debt Gala artists. They have thrown branded events throughout their career ranging from brand activations, to Brooklyn Jello-o wrestling, to closet sales.
Jean’s film work focuses on female-centric body horror. Two films they directed, Goo and FILM GIRL, are set to hit NYC film festivals in 2026. They love perfume, puppetry, and their favorite word is “alacrity.”

Kate Blumm
Communications Lead

Kate is a native New Yorker and product of New York City public schools who builds the Debt Gala’s public narrative and media presence. She presently serves as Senior Vice President for Communications and Marketing at the Central Park Conservancy. Kate has been Chief Speechwriter to the Mayor of the City of New York and Senior Vice President at Rubenstein Communications, and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Gowanus Canal Conservancy. -

Dalí Adekunle
Content Lead
Dalí Adekunle is a creative director, actor, and multidisciplinary artist whose storytelling bridges the worlds of healthcare, art, and strategy. She helps shape The Debt Gala’s creative heartbeat through digital design, short-form content, and community-centered programming.
Drawing on a background in healthcare administration and healthcare advertising, and a lifelong commitment to the arts, Dalí brings a cinematic perspective and cultural fluency to her work. Her contributions to the Gala reflect a belief in storytelling not just as an expression, but as a foundation for change. IG: @daliadekunle

Asia Kate Dillon
Community Coordinator
Asia is a performer, writer, producer, and director. Cast in the role of Taylor, a non-binary character in Showtime’s Billions, Dillon was the first non-binary actor ever to be cast in a major television series leading them to be nominated for the Critics Choice Award for supporting actor in 2017 and 2018. Dillon is also known for their television roles in Orange Is the New Black, The Simpsons, Master of None, Younger, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, gen:LOCK, and the feature films The Outside Story and John Wick 3: Parabellum. Their latest film - Outerlands - which they produced and star in has screened at over 50 festivals around the world, garnering seven awards for the film, including two outstanding performance awards for Dillon.
Dillon also serves as an ambassador for Drama Club NYC. Drama Club’s mission is to consistently care for youth who are incarcerated and court-involved by creating space for them to thrive, using improv as their guide.

Cynthia Jiang
Social Media Lead
Cynthia (Cyn/Cynth/CJ) is a reformed tech bro turned producer, musician, and writer from the SF Bay Area, but you all may know her as “admin” for The Debt Gala socials. In addition to keeping TDG DMs checked and the trolls to a minimum, she is also the operations lead for New American Ensemble as well as working on some really cool things at Disney on Broadway. Stephen Stout
Development Coordinator
Stephen Stout is a writer, producer, actor, and the former Artistic Director and Director of New Content for The Peoples Improv Theater. He co-created and produced the sold-out, late-night hit #serials@theflea at The Flea Theater. With Matt Cox, he's co-authored seven all-new comedy plays as Giant Skybeam at The Second City NYC as well as the musical The Ferret Show (music & lyrics by Ben Thornewill & Dan Mills). As an actor: Off-Broadway: original cast of Puffs (New World Stages), Confidence (and The Speech) (Theatre Row), Twelfth Night (Aquila Theater Company).
